Public Safety Awards
The Trauma Survivors Foundation’s Public Safety Award was initiated by the Board of Directors in order to provide an opportunity for the men and women of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey’s public safety community to be recognized for outstanding service to the citizens of Delaware.
The Trauma Survivors Foundation’s Public Safety Award recognizes:
Those emergency services personnel who have gone “above and beyond the call of duty” to protect the lives and property of the citizens of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey
Those who have made significant contributions to their profession through community outreach, training, or charitable contributions.
The Alyse Alvini Personal Hero Award recognizes First Responders who significantly impacted a Trauma Survivors life through heroic acts. Quite often emergency crews never know the end results of an accident nor do they ever see the survivors after the initial encounter. The Alyse Alvini Personal Hero Award changes that course of action and allows closure for both the survivor and the First Responder.
The Trauma Survivors Foundation’s Public Safety Award and the Alyse Alvini Personal Hero Award will be bestowed upon a member of law enforcement, fire service, emergency medical services, and mental health services.
We are excited to reintroduce this significant recognition back to the community.
